Fascism (n) - a political philosophy, movement, or regime (as that of
the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual
and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a
dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and

We've been told for years that fascism is the extreme of the political
right, but it just doesn't add up. Fascism is nothing more than a
synonym for socialism, the very economic system so cherished by the
American left. The right supports capitalism, hardly known for it's
desire to promote the politics of economic control so essential to
fascism and socialism! If anything the far right would be anarchy!
The american right also embraces the concept of decentralization of
government - one portion of decentralization in the US is known as
"states' rights" and what does the left consider this concept? Racist!
The left has been the driving force behind CENTRALIZING power at the
federal level! Centralized power is also essential to fascist and
socialist systems! We do know that the right has a love of country,
but that's because we love the impact the nation has had over the past
few centuries. (Hardly something our anti-semetic european "friends"
can understand) The left, on the other hand, has a different form of
nationalism - the selling out of your freedoms to government programs
that are intended to make important decisions in your life for you.
So both the right and left share a love of country, in a way, but
which is worse? The right and their pride of our history, or the
left's desire to fabricate a system in which the government
micromanages your life? The left certainly shares the fascist belief
of placing race above the importance of the individual as well - they
even go so far as to knock any rightwing proposal that impowers
individuals as racist! At least the left hasn't cried for the
creation of a dictator, but then they sure do love dictators of other
nations! Saddam, Kim-Jong-il, Stalin, hell as long as a dictator has
a well-worn, dog-eared copy of Das Kapital on their nightstand a lefty
will love them!
