Why is Kerry alienating independents?

I am a socialist and therefore I am agressively campaigning for Kerry
in Florida. I'm involved with my university's Leisure and
Entertainment organization and have done alot with getting local
liberal political bands to play on campus for raising awareness.
Kerry's starting to annoy me because it's like he doesn't even want
the position anymore. Besides his wife sabotaging his campaign every
time she opens her mouth (with all due respect, shut up already
Teresa!), Kerry seems to be doing the same thing. It's one thing to
make a small gaff when performing public speaking, but when his
commercials are so sloppy that even the independent and unpolitical
liberal students at my school are questioning him. This is terrible
because we can't win without them.

One of his last commercials is especially bad. He starts off by
saying that Iraq cost $200 billion because Bush decided to go it
alone. Do you know how stupid I feel when I have to explain how we
have gone alone with the help of dozens on countries? It's impossible
for me to spin this one away considering I've bitched about Tony Blair
so much. Another big problem with the commercial is that he says the
money should go into schools and healthcare. Obviously I agree, the
NEA is one of the Democrat party's biggest allies and we need to keep
them happy, and as a socialist Kerry's support of Universal Health
Care is great. Unfortunately alot of my independent friends aren't
convinced. Many of them complain about the amount of money we already
spend on education and say it's a fiscally irresponsible system that
doesn't need more money. With Universal Healthcare my friends aren't
convinced either. Some actually bring up that the Consitution doesn't
authorize the government to run a centralized healthcare system, and
others brainlessly call it fascist medicine. How am I supposed to
convince people like this? WHERE THE HELL ARE THEY GETTING THESE
CRAZY IDEAS ANYAY? Last weekend some of these students actually said
they were going to vote for him until he got himself in that scandel
with Dan Rather.

Kerry's blowing it, he has no personality, and doesn't seem to be
willing to say or do what he needs to do to get elected. I think we
need to allow him to do just that and allow himself to come across as
a pro-capitalism and pro-individual as he needs to be to get people to
vote for him. We shouldn't complain about anything he does from now
until election because he needs to be free to do what it takes to win.

Kerry's just not exciting and isn't doing a good enough job in
appealing to ignorant individuals in the center and right. Is it too
late to replace him? *sigh* can get draft Dean or Hilary?

No. You're a troll pretending to be a socialist so you can make a
post to a bunch of mostly liberal newsgroup filled with Republican
talking points against Kerry in hopes of starting a flame war or
turning potential Kerry voters off. Go fuck off. "Some point out the
constitution doesn't allow a centralized health care system..." Even
FoxNews has more subtlety.

Nice to see ampj hasn't changed that much since I last posted here.

Excuse me but the source of the document is irrelevant! It's the
content! The content must be addressed because it was written down!
:)

Could you help me out in the future here? What tipped you off? Did I
spell too many words correctly? Should I have used all caps? Damn,
what a silly way to lose my cover. I thought I came across like the
perfect leftist! I was narrowminded, demanded everyone think like me,
praised the concept of a centralized federal government managing all
aspects of our lives, I pandered to the most destructive union in the
nation, and basically showed contempt for the very fabric of freedom.
Geeze! I can't believe I blew it. I should have been more hateful or
I should have praised france and said we need to model ourselves after
that nation. Geeze, hindsight it always 20/20 - except when you're
Lurch and fumble into the same mistakes over and over again.

Oh well, live and learn!
